It's a little too big for me, although with my slight platform heels I was just about tall enough to pull it off ... so long as I didn't try to walk with the skirt down. It's unfortunate I chose to braid my hair too, it gives the dress a totally different look.
The dress is made up of an under and overskirt, and has an empire waist-line that sits just under the bust. Faux pearl buttons run down the front of the lace covered bodice. The dress closes with a zip and two hooks and eyes at the back, so it's really easy to get in and out of. Lace cuffs, when fitted properly, produce a puffy look to the sleeves that's reminiscent of Victorian or Edwardian styles, all in all I'd say this is 70s does Edwardian.
The dress is brilliant white with no holes or tears that I could find, although the stitching has started to come away from the zip just under the empire seam. The two eyes are missing from the collar, but all other fastenings are intact. A long trailing veil, complete with a front veil, comes with the dress. Lace flowers have been appliqued to the trailing end, and there are holes in the veil, however given the length you could cut above the tears and re-applique the flowers without it looking wrong or too short.
Length: 59" from back of neck (not including collar)
Please note these measurements are approximate and may hold a small margin of error despite my best efforts.
