I'm Tors. No, I'm not Scandinavian, blonde nor built to fill out an opera diva's breastplate, just born to parents who didn't think Vicky was a suitable nickname for me. I live in the mountains of south Wales with a large wolf named Bear (okay, he's actually a dog) and Puck, the aptly named cat (if I do say so myself). I love pretty things, old things, practical things and things with absolutely no use whatsoever, and I blog about them all. Croeso!

Hi Tors,
There is a tute on stretching shoes here:
http://modernkiddo.com/?p=6074
I haven't tried it but it seems logical. Ilike the denim skirt outfit and am sure it's just a matter of finding the right trousers for an evening look. x
That is GENIUS!! Thank you for the link, I shall be trying that out on several pairs of shoes I think! And I am continuing my search for nicer trousers as you suggest, I'm sure there's something out there that'll work :)
x
I love the first photo the most. Looks proper 70s :)
I too love the first look, so cool and relaxed!
I like the 70s look too! :) I've had similar problems with pants, boo.
You know what I would selfishly love? A shoes post! A Tors Greatest Hits. And I want brands, lady, so I can troll eBay in the wee hours. ;) Problem is, it's very hard for me to wear heels, but those wedges. Oh! Those wedges.
(And I know I'm not supposed to comment, but I wanted to thank you for your last post. I hear you. And so do women I love.)
Hahaha, that's what I liked about it too, still got my vintage on ;)
Thanks! I definitely felt relaxed and I love the idea I look cool, never quite manage it normally ;)
Oooh! Great idea, your wish is my command! You'll love the wedges more once I show you the detailing on the heel, betcha!
(And thank you, that means a lot to me)
Love your remixes!
I really love natural colour of the trousers with the top and fab wedges, its a shame about the bagginess, though it proves you would definitely suit skinny jeans or some 50's style Capri pants! :)
Thanks! And Capri pants for the win! I have the Colette Clovers to make (still) so hopefully they'll work out better!
I love the remixes too, I´d love to "borrow" the idea. :-) I am especially smitten with the skirt/tee combo. Very cute with the shoes!
Whenever I have tees that I love, but they somehow have "shrunk in the closet" I pair them with a matching vest/tank top underneath that is a bit longer, this way they don´t act up as much, and I can still wear them.:-)
Of course you can, feel free to borrow away! :)
Love that, "shrunk in the closet", and that's a great idea, I'll have to remember that. Thanks! x
penny for your thoughts ...
