i heart geeks

Day #1 of dressing for comfort took place on Saturday, I thought I'd pick my favourite t-shirt as the sun decided to show its face again, designed by moi on Spreadshirt several years ago. And I do, I really do. It's a little too tight for me now but I just can't get rid of it so I have to hope that the few pounds I've put on since designing it will come back off again one day.

The jeans used to belong to my Mum and sit at my natural waist, which is a no-no if I'm tucking stuff in I think, but makes me feel a little better as I get tummy control, a good thing when your t-shirt is a little too tight!

This outfit is pretty comfortable, is presentable, definitely showing a bit of my personality (geeks rule!) and doesn't make me feel terribly self conscious. If I didn't have to suck my tummy in so much to it would be a definite 10.

I love that my hair is long enough again to start curling naturally, there's no product or styling gone in to my mop, I just pinned the sides back in an attempt to keep the sheer amount of hair I have out of my face.

Love this outfit! The tee is adorable and works so well with your mums old jeans and your hair looks lovely all natural! It seems to have grown very quickly, or perhaps Its just haven't been round here for a while:) x

Thank you! It is growing fast, one of the downsides whenever I have short hair or a fringe, but I do think I prefer it longer (and naturally curled) so it's for the best! x

Its cute and relaxed - love the tee shirt. The jeans are lovely. Like the hair too. I really don't like having a muffin top! I tend to avoid those jeans that squeeze me! x

Suzy

You look great and agree about the tee :) And I have to say that photo location/ background is amazing. Me is much jealous ;)

All my jeans - actually, scratch that, anything with a waistband, causes me to have a muffin top as soon as I fold at the waist, I just can't seem to avoid it even if I wear stuff that's too big! It's such a pain in the buttox, but these jeans at least make me feel like it isn't so bad ;)

Thank you! It's funny, the location is my next door neighbour's garage doors out in the lane behind our houses! My back gate is to the right of me in that picture, you can see the shadow on the floor by my feet! We've got some great looking places around here, I can't believe I never really use them!
