My bed is a cream, iron bedstead and I have white Ikea furniture I'm looking to eventually replace with older, more solid second-hand pieces that I'll undoubtably paint white or variations along that theme. I've decided on louvre doors as shutters, painted the same colour as the woodwork (a pale, pinky white I have yet to find) to create a vintage look. Maybe some feminine, frilly and sheer curtains for show, just because. I seem to have a thing for frilly, I'm discovering whole sides to my personality I didn't know existed and can't think why it's taken me 35 years to figure out I like ruffles on my bed:

Shoe storage is obviously another thing on my mind, particularly as the wolf has a penchant for ripping the inner sole out of any shoes I accidentally leave lying around. I love my shoes, but I hate digging through boxes to find them because I am intrinsically lazy. Besides, they're things of beauty and should be on display. I'm not sure which display choice I'm going to go for yet, but I'm looking forward to making the decision!

It's going to take a while to put every detail in place, I have lots of ideas and lots of inspiration pictures on my bedroom pinboard, it's very exciting that I can get started shortly. Let's hope the warm weather continues so that my plaster dries out (and so I can maybe get some outfit posts up too!). Got any advice or pictures you think I should see? I'm always in need of more inspiration (and advice, I'm a terrible DIY-er), please do abuse the comment section with any and all.
Thanks for stopping by,

My shoes are out on racks (boring plastic ones but better than in a pile on the floor as before!) and they get really dusty, particularly the pairs I don't wear all that often so I'd say go for a cupboard for shoes, I will have to give all my summer sandals a good clean before I can wear them after they've sat there all winter!
I like the pink paint colour. My first sewing room was painted a colour called pashmina and I loved it, it's a bit darker than the ones you're looking at though!
I have to admit, the cupboard version is in there because of how much I don't like dusting ;)
I've never been a pink person, so I figure I'll go as light as possible. Hopefully it's something I can live with as I have no idea what colour to go with otherwise! Crown also has a colour called Pashmina which is a darker version of my colour, maybe it's the same shade
