Caerffili & The Olympic Torch

I spent the morning on Saturday with friends from the village, Anna & Fireman Ralph, stood on the side of the main road through Caerffili waiting to see the Olympic Torch speed past on its tour of the country. We were joined by several thousand people who braved the unusually hot weather and brilliant blue skies for a glimpse, flags waving and trumpetty things trumpetting. Of course, I totally failed to get an actual shot of the torch itself, but here's the few random pics I did manage to capture with my iPhone.
